We have now reached December and have completed 13 weeks of the NFL season. With just four weeks remaining the Overall Leaderboard did not have any movement this week but several sites are still within reach of the top five spots as we head down the stretch.

Be sure to come back each week for a review of the Industry Consensus picks highlighting the top (and bottom) grades for the week and season from the experts we are tracking. For Week 13 we tracked and graded 22 sets of experts picks including the Industry Consensus list. You can view all expert’s overall rankings on the Expert Grading page.

On to the Week 13 grades, class is in session!

Consensus Recap – Week 13

The Industry Consensus picks finished the in bottom half of the rankings this week with a 13th place finish out of 22 experts graded.

QB (Score: 1.63 / Rank 12th out of 22) – It was a difficult week for the experts at QB this week with low DailyOverlay scores across the board. The Consensus list as a result didn’t fare too well with only Matthew Stafford receiving an “A” grade.

RB (Score: 5.00 / Rank 12th out of 22) – The experts fared much better at the RB position with the Consensus list providing a varied of good options including the two more recommended running backs, Jordan Howard and David Johnson, while also receiving “A+” grades for LeSean McCoy and Latavius Murray.

WR (Score: 1.67 / Rank 13th out of 22) – The wide receiver position followed the quarterback position with very few good grades. The Consensus list only had two wideouts with a grade of “A” including Julio Jones and Malcom Mitchell.

TE (Score: 2.17 / Rank 15th out of 22) – Tight end was also a poor position for the Consensus list this week with some surprise performances at the position. At least the most recommended TE, Travis Kelce, put up a good day.

D/ST (Score: 4.40 / Rank 7th out of 22) – Defense was the strongest position for the Consensus list this week with three of the top four defenses of the week showing up at the top of the list with the Broncos, Patriots and Ravens.

Study Time – Week 13

If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 13 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.

  • DraftKings Playbook (Score: 1.13) had a rough week with eight of their 16 selections receiving an “F” grade. They were let down by picks of Matt Barkley, James Starks, Tim Hightower, Mohamad Sanu and Marquess Wilson.
