Today is a special day in the Monahan household, so I am going to hope some good karma spills over into DFS play tonight.

My wife and I’s 3-year anniversary today, but we aren’t doing anything special. First, we have a 3 1/2-month old that doesn’t bottle feed, so going out anywhere is pretty much out of the questions. Secondly, it’s raining cats and dogs (a cliche and an idiom all in one!).

Even if I shoot blanks tonight, our daughter gave us the best anniversary gift ever last night – her first laugh. No, she didn’t happen to glance at my ROI for this construction piece (I’d advise you to look it over if you feel the need for comedy).

Also, Brad is back tonight and he finally hit the first solid chunk of money on Monday, so congrats to him. I hope we can see more of that as we continue on.

And away we go…

Cash Game Lineup

3-9-16

Cash Game Narrative – If you are going to keep the door open, I am going to walk through. By that I mean, our injury rule allows to play someone not from the Expert Consensus. Jerryd Bayless is a cheap option that allows me to play that card, and I will keep hitting as long as the house allows.

GPP Lineup

3-9-16 GPP

GPP Narrative – I like everything about my GPP lineup except Avery Bradley, and the fact that I don’t have KD. I was hoping Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk would be out tonight to make way for Tyler Zeller, but that didn’t happen, so I had to alter my lineup. Collison should get extended minutes with McLemore and possibly Bellinelli out. Bradley does flash 40-point potential on occasion though, so I am hopeful that a not-so-healthy front court allows Boston’s backcourt to flourish.

GPP Narrative – High-priced players I wanted to get into my GPP lineup included James, Paul and Drummond. I was able to do so by putting two cheap off the board PG’s into my lineup (Calderon and Collison).  We’ll see if I can duplicate my success on Monday.
