We have reached the end of the road for MLB coverage this season with the NFL getting into full swing next week. It has been a fun year of baseball and we have had some good days, hot and cold streaks and a few decent GPP cashes. Here is to one last shot to win the big one and pull our overall ROI into the plus side.

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup

fd50509.2

Cash Narrative – One final Cash game lineup tonight. Price should dominate against the A’s in Oakland tonight. I bit on the cheap Phillies with Franco and Herrera. Grichuk has righted the ship and seems to be catching fire at the right time if you’re a Cardinals fan (which I am). Rasmus rakes against righties and Griffin really struggles with the left-handed bats so I like the power potential there.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – I’ll play the Diamondbacks side of the coin at Coors tonight while sprinkling in a touch of Rockies with Hundley. A small stack of Astros with Rasmus and Correa. Outside of that, I’m not going full stack like I usually do. Davis, Hundley and Franco all stand alone. Hellickson on the bump can hopefully pick up a win.

Cash Game Lineup

Cash

Cash Narrative – With the huge value on the hitting side using a minimum priced Herrera and Franco, I was able to get a lot of other big bats and still grab two medium priced pitchers. Since I am so close to a positive ROI with my DK Cash game lineups, I am going to take one shot with a $5 Double Up tonight to see if I can get in the black to end the season.

GPP Lineup

GPP

GPP Narrative – I recommended two Darkhorse pitchers in my “On the Hill” column today and I’m going to roll the dice with both of them at dirt cheap prices so that I can not only stack up the Diamondbacks top five hitters but also grab other high-priced options like Arenado, Lindor and Trumbo. I need at least a $10 cash with my GPP lineup to finish in the black so I’m going for it.

Cash & GPP Lineup

FND

Narrative -Go big or go home, right? I’ve entered this lineup in a $5 tournament and my usual $1 double up. I have loved doing baseball lineups on FantasyDraft. I hope we can end on a high note! I love Price and Thor tonight but to fit Coors bats and some Arlington bats, I figured I’d fade them. Alex Reyes and Urias are two young dynamic talents. Urias gets the strikeout heavy Padres and Reyes, an off the board play, gets a Votto-less Cincy team. Odubel Herrera is a trap, I’m convinced now even though he’s a BVP play along with Odor, Trout and Altuve. Good luck all!
