Cashed again with my DraftKings GPP lineup last night making two in a row. Maybe I can go on a 17 straight win streak to match the losing streak I had in GPPs. Of course, now that I am cashing in GPPs my DrafKings cash game lineups are finishing outside the money. Hopefully, tonight I can put it all together and cash in both. Matt cashed with his FanDuel cash game lineup last night and will look to make it two in a row tonight. Finally, as Stephen mentions below, tonight will be his last FantasyAces lineup as he will shift over to start providing FantasyDraft lineups starting next week. Hope everyone has a good Friday night of DFS to kick off the weekend.

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup

fd50506.3

Cash Narrative – A little bit of everything tonight with the Cash game. The Fathers are the only squad where I will feature more than one hitter. I like the looks of this one!

GPP Lineup

 fdgpp6.3

GPP Narrative – Wainwright has “wrighted” the ship a bit lately and will be one of my off the board plays. I don’t really like the Cards offense against Cueto but I’ll hope they can scratch out a couple runs and get Wainwright a W. A stack of Tigers should play well against the southpaw, Rodon. My other off the board play is ARod. Call it a hunch.

Cash Game Lineup

Cash

Cash Narrative – I originally had Jurickson Profar and Nomar Mazzara in this lineup but with weather concerns in Texas, I pivoted to Trea Turner (as an off the board play) and JD Martinez. I also had to go off the board at first base with Adrian Gonzalez on the hitting side as I wanted to pay up for Syndergaard tonight in Cash.

GPP Lineup

GPP

GPP Narrative – I really like this lineup assuming all of the players I have selected are in the starting lineup. Off the board plays include Yasmani Grandal, Trea Turner and Jung Ho Kang. On the pitching side if the Mariners/Rangers game gets PPD then I’ll pivot to Adam Wainwright as my 2nd pitcher.

Lineup Narrative – So we’ve decided to ditch FantasyAces after tonight and switch to FantasyDraft to see how we can do for the month of June. I hope I have better success, which I believe I can, over on that site. Anyway, here’s tonight’s final FA lineup. I didn’t go off the board at all for this one, though let me make something clear. I absolutely cannot play Jurickson Profar because he’s surprisingly unavailable to roster on the site. They sent an email earlier in the day about fixing some lineup issues, but to not have Profar is absurd. That’s going to make things a little interesting on my end. I actually am afraid of the weather in this one so I am going to fade the Rangers altogether for this particular lineup. Anyway, Velasquez has been touted as a GPP play tonight, but I am more than comfortable rolling him out in cash games. He’s exceptionally cheap on FA, too. I am all about following the Padres’ train against lefties tonight as they have scored 27 runs the past two nights with a lefty started on the mound. I will try and continue to milk Bogaerts’ hitting streak while it lasts, and he was a BvP play for me against R.A. Dickey, too. I am giving Correa the green light against Jesse Hahn and rolling out two catchers, both in prime spots. The Padres are going to boom or bust this lineup if they go back to their old ways, but as they say, you can always count on the Padres….wait, no one says that…Good luck!
