I guess my reverse jinx worked as Stephen cashed with his Cash game lineup on FantasyDraft yesterday. I also cashed with my DraftKings Cash game lineup. Time for a big GPP win. Maybe tonight is the night!

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup

fd50508.16

Cash Narrative – Once again, I’ll be spread all over the board with the exception of Leon/Benintendi. Werth has been an on base machine which plays well on FD. Piscotty has struggled the last month but maybe the Crawford Boxes will give him a shot in the arm.

GPP Lineup

 fdgpp8.16

GPP Narrative – Heavy on the Nats as I’m sure a lot of others are. I considered fading but the Consensus didn’t offer much as far as stacking options today. Ervin Santana provides some nice GPP upside. Off the board plays are Choi, who is basically homerun or bust with his .162 batting average, and Jordy Mercer.

Cash Game Lineup

Cash

Cash Narrative – There were some big value plays at some of the hitter positions on the Consensus tonight but other positions had all high-priced players so I am going with a “Stars and Scrubs” type of approach for my Cash game lineup tonight. Also without any good low-cost pitchers, I had to go for the top value arms available with Maeda and Snell.

GPP Lineup

GPP

GPP Narrative – Going with a bottom of the lineup Red Sox stack tonight with Leon and Benintendi from the Consensus list and adding in Hill and Shaw as off the board plays. Then put together a Dodgers stack with Seager from the Consensus list and off the board plays of Gonzalez, Reddick and Kendrick. On the pitching side, I wanted to get two high upside pitchers from my “On the Hill” column today so grabbed Syndergaard and Pineda.

Cash Narrative – I believe Maeda and Snell will be two of the more popular pitchers of the night, so safe = cash games for me. I am going to continue to ride the Judge train until it stops, so he’s my off-the-board play for this lineup. Mixed bag here and no Rockies or Nats in this cash game lineup as I played other guys I felt had solid pricing with better floors.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – No one is talking about Velasquez, but he sports a sub-2.00 ERA at home. The Dodgers have been heating up, but I like the upside tonight at home for Vincent. No one else is off-the-board for my GPP lineup and some of the same names show up here again along with Coors players. I wanted to fit in Arenado, too, but there’s not any value at pitcher in the lower tier tonight.
