Welcome the Week 7 Offensive Tendencies article where there are plenty of interesting games with teams and players that have increased opportunities to take advantage of. Some are obvious such as the Chiefs offense playing the Saints but there are also some that I didn’t expect to see bubble up that might be worth a look for your DFS lineups this week. So let’s get right to the numbers and analysis…

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

Projected Plays Pass Pass% Pass Yards Pass TD Run Run% Rush Yards Rush TD Score
Chicago Bears 64 42 65.6% 292 1.7 22 34.4% 84 0.4 19.6
Green Bay Packers 65 40 61.5% 276 2.1 25 38.5% 101 0.4 24.7
The Bears project to pass more often than normal this week as a road underdog in Green Bay. As a result, the passing game will have a slight increase in yardage with a significantly increased opportunity for two touchdown passes. The running game will struggle with fewer yards and a low chance for a rushing score. The Bears have passed over 65% of the time in the red zone. Look for the Packers to pass more often than usual this week with a depleted backfield. The passing game will have an increase in passing yardage with a slightly increased likelihood for two touchdown passes. The running game will fall just short of their typical yardage with their typical low chance for a rushing touchdown. The Packers pass over 56% of the time in the red zone, which may increase this week. Increased Opportunities:
  • Brian Hoyer and the Bears passing game (Cameron Meredith/Alshon Jeffery) (++)
  • Aaron Rodgers and the Packers passing game (Jordy Nelson/Ty Montgomery) (++)
