We have a solid eight-game slate on the first Friday night of the NBA season with three games that stand out with far and away the highest Vegas totals including matchups between the Warriors at Pelicans, Rockets at Mavericks and Pacers at Nets. The Consensus list features a nice mix of high-priced studs and inexpensive value options to choose from to construct your DFS lineups.

The numbers in the parenthesis are the number of experts that picked that player to give you more context as to the gaps between players and the tiers. Here are the Industry Consensus picks for tonight…

Highly Touted

  • Tim Frazier (11x) – Cheap price, big minutes and a high Vegas total should make Frazier a highly owned play tonight
  • Anthony Davis (11x) – Coming off a huge game with 50 points and 16 rebounds, Davis will need to match those numbers again tonight if the Pelicans hope to keep up with the Warriors
  • Kevin Durant (10x) – Solid Warriors debut with 27 points and 10 boards, look for another double-double tonight against the Pelicans
  • James Harden (10x) – Career-high 17 assists in the Rockets opener to go along with 34 points, Harden will be on this list every night he plays this season
  • Russell Westbrook (9x) – Another high volume player, who like Harden will be on this list every night he plays this season, but with such high salaries you might be forced to choose just one of them
  • Steven Adams (9x) – Played 36 minutes and attempted 16 shots in the Thunder’s first game, solid low-cost option at center
  • Rodney Hood (8x) – Will continue to see increased usage and minutes with Gordon Hayward out and get another good matchup against the Lakers tonight
  • Myles Turner (8x) – Put up 30 points, 16 boards and 4 blocks on opening night and gets a juicy matchup against the Nets in a game with a high Vegas total
  • Monta Ellis (8x) – Reasonably priced guard who played 44 minutes in the Pacers overtime win
  • Andre Drummond (8x) – Limited to 24 minutes due to foul trouble in the opener should be able to bounce back against the Magic tonight
  • LeBron James (7x) – Good pivot away from the other high-priced studs in a game that should be competitive throughout against the Raptors in Toronto
  • Hassan Whiteside (7x) – Should continue to be a bigger part of the offense this season without Dwayne Wade around

  • Clint Capela (6x) – Cheap big man in a up-tempo game with a high Vegas total
  • JJ Barea (6x) – Played 39 minutes in the Mavericks overtime loss in the opener and should get plenty of action and possessions against the Rockets tonight
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (6x) – Huge opening night with 23 points and 14 boards against the Bucks but will have a tougher matchup against the Heat
  • Ish Smith (6x) – Will continue to see big minutes with Reggie Jackson out and is capable of a big fantasy game
  • Rudy Gobert (6x) – Could see a small dip in production with the expected return of Derrick Favors tonight but has a good matchup against the Lakers
  • Joe Johnson (5x) – Totally scoring dependent if he is hot like he was on Tuesday he can have another solid game
  • Justise Winslow (5x) – Another beneficiary of the new look Heat without Wade, can contribute in every category
  • Serge Ibaka (5x) – Rough debut with Magic but minutes and shots were there and is still reasonably priced
  • Paul George (5x) – Will likely be overlooked on the slate with other stud forwards available which could make him a good contrarian GPP option
  • Enes Kanter (5x) – Was very efficient with his 24 minutes in the opener with 17 points and 12 rebounds
  • Tobias Harris (5x) – Solid production at a reasonable price facing his former team
  • Stephen Curry (5x) – Limited production in the opener against the Spurs could come back with a vengeance in a much easier matchup with the Pelicans tonight

  • George Hill (4x)
  • Eric Gordon (4x)
  • Harrison Barnes (4x)
  • TJ Warren (4x)
  • Deron Williams (4x)
  • Jonas Valanciunas (3x)
  • Klay Thompson (3x)
  • Evan Fournier (3x)
  • Dirk Nowitzki (3x)
