We have a smaller six-game slate to kick off the last week of the NBA Expert Consensus and grading this season. Looking at the Vegas lines every game has a total of 211 or lower and a spread of eight points or lower, which could mean a lot of close low scoring games. The experts definitely have their favorites tonight with six players selected by at least 10 experts.

The numbers in the parenthesis are the number of experts that picked that player to give you more context as to the gaps between players and the tiers. Also listed are our new “smarter” projected ownership percentages for Cash and GPP leagues to help determine which players will be the chalk and which players could be a good low owned contrarian play.

Here are the Industry Consensus picks for tonight…

Highly Touted

  • Rudy Gobert (14x) – Cash 45% / GPP 33% – Has been a monster in his last two games averaging 30.5 points and 13.5 boards
  • Kawhi Leonard (12x) – 42% / 31% – Scored 41 points with six boards and five assists in the previous matchup with Cavs this season
  • George Hill (11x) – 40% / 28% – Coming off a bad game but could see increased usage if Gordon Hayward is out
  • Russell Westbrook (10x) – 28% / 23% – Hasn’t even had a double-double let alone a triple-double versus Mavericks in two games this season, although he is averaging 37 points in those games
  • DeMar DeRozan (10x) – 31% / 23% – Has scored 40+ points in two of his last three games and gets a good matchup against Magic

  • Mike Conley (9x) – 25% / 20% – Coming off 29-point game with Marc Gasol out, if Gasol out again then Conley should carry the offense again

  • Zach Randolph (9x) – 27% / 22% – Started last game while playing 29 minutes with Marc Gasol out, will see increased production at reasonable price if Gasol is out again
