Big decisions tonight with five high-priced Aces pitching and a game at Coors Field. Do you get the Ace or do you pay up for the Coors Field bats? Much harder to get both on FanDuel tonight, but I was able to make it work on DraftKings. No Stephen tonight for FantasyAces but he should be back tomorrow. Let’s see if Matt and I can pick up a big GPP win this week.

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Entrant – Matt – FanDuel

Cash Game Lineup

Cash Narrative – I found a way to get Strasburg in my lineup against a struggling Tigers offense. My off the board play is Tucker. Last week, when I used him as an off the board play he went deep so let’s hope that happens again tonight.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – As Brad noted in his “On the Hill” article today, the price on Aaron Sanchez does not seem to have caught up to his production as of yet. I’ll stack the Diamondbacks in Coors, which is never a bad play. Speed is the theme of my two off the board plays as I went with Billy Hamilton and Brett Gardner.

Entrant – Brad- DraftKings

Cash Game Lineup

Cash Narrative – I wanted to get in as many hitters as possible from the D’Backs/Rockies game. I managed to get in six hitters using one off-the-board play with a cheap Nick Ahmed playing at Coors Field. Still able to get my favorite Ace of the night in Fernandez and then an underpriced Sanchez.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – Went with a full Marlins stack with Stanton, Bour and Dietrich from the Consensus list and using two off-the-board plays with Prado and Yelich. Also used the top two in the Rockies lineup and McCann who has a good shot at a long ball tonight. Avoiding all the Aces in my GPP lineup tonight, getting Matz as my pseudo-ace and pairing him with Berrios who I think might have a breakout performance tonight.
