No FantasyDraft lineups tonight with Stephen taking the day off, but Matt and I are here to supply FanDuel and DraftKings lineups. Apparently, we are both on the same page tonight unless it was the Consensus list that forced us but the Brewers bats will hold the key to success for the GPP lineups tonight. You might want to consider a lineup with Chad Bettis in it to be contrarian against the Brew Crew.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.
As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.
Entrant – Matt – FanDuel
Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – I’m going to try and erase last week from my memory. Let’s get back on track tonight by finding the money with two lineups. Carrasco against the A’s seems like a safe play with a high floor and an opportunity to put up massive points. Lots of Brewers in the Cash and GPP lineup for me tonight. Chisenhall rounds out the lineup as the only off the board play.
GPP Narrative – Start with Godley as an off the board play. It worked out well the last time I did it so fingers crossed that it does again. A big stack of Brewers with Carter, Gennett, Braun and Broxton coupled with a stack of Red Sox in Leon, Bogaerts and Betts. With the remaining salary, I was able to snatch up Kris Bryant who could feast off Edwin Jackson.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – I had to go off the board at pitcher tonight without any cheap options so I grabbed Pineda who was selected by two experts tonight. The rest of my lineup features a mix of value and studs from the Consensus list.
GPP Narrative – Full Brewers stack with their 1 thru 5 hitters who were all on the Consensus list tonight at home against Bettis and the Rockies. Also grabbed a bottom of the lineup Red Sox stack with Leon and off the board plays with Hill and Benintendi. With all the value on the hitting side, I was able to grab two of my favorite pitchers both on the Consensus list using Price and Taillon who both have big strikeout upside tonight.
