Congrats again to Greg (vengven), the DailyOvrelay founder, for his big win in the Mega Payoff Pitch on Wednesday night on DraftKings. Tonight I am going to steal part of the method behind his winning lineup by paying down at both pitcher spots in my GPP lineup for DraftKings. Looking to close the week out strong.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build our entire lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.
As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.
Entrant – Stephen- FanDuel
Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Can’t pay up for a pitcher using the Consensus, so hopefully Sanchez can help me rebound after I used him last time in a cash game and he blew up.
GPP Narrative – Stros stack tonight, will switch if weather is ugly in Texas tonight.
Entrant – Brad- DraftKings
Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Started with a core of players that were selected by at least 9 experts on the Consensus list tonight with Kluber, Cabrera, Lindor and Trout. Filled in the rest with other Consensus plays that I liked. I did take one off the board play with Giancarlo Stanton out tonight and Ichiro Suzuki batting leadoff for the Marlins.
GPP Narrative – Trying a similar concept that won Greg the Mega Payoff Pitch on Wednesday by picking the two cheapest pitchers from my On the Hill column today. On the hitting side, I am loading up with all power hitters that have two home run upside who were on the Consensus list tonight and not in my Cash game lineup.
