My most recent philosophy where I select the most touted hitters by the Expert Consensus List first and then fill in my pitchers with the money remaining has worked well resulting in two straight Cash game winning lineups on DraftKings. Looking to make it three straight tonight! Matt had a rough night last night but will look to get back in the win column tonight.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build our entire lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.
As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Even with a bit of an injury risk, I think Liriano is the best pitcher on the board tonight. A couple of mini-stacks in the lineup tonight with three Dodgers, two Reds and two Jays.
GPP Narrative – This could not be more opposite of my strategy from last night. Like Juvenile said, “Stack That A** Up”…or something like that. Four Jays and four Reds in the lineup. Pairing that with Verrett, who I think provides a lot of value at that price point. I know he’s going opposite Velasquez, who has been untouchable, but his star has to fade at some point. The only off the board play was the ultimate feast or famine player, Billy Hamilton. Hoping he can find a way to get on base a couple of times because that usually translates to some swiped bags.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Continuing to build my lineup by selecting the top Consensus hitters and then paying up for one of the top pitchers and pairing him with the best value pitcher of the night.
GPP Narrative – I am going very “chalky” for my GPP lineup tonight. I expect the Blue Jays and Dodgers to be the two most owned stacks of the night. My only potential variation is my pitcher selections by going to the top priced option and one of the lowest price options. Also expect to have some lineup variation by leaving $600 of salary left over. Utley is my only off the board play tonight.
