It was another solid week for the RotoGrinders 6-Pack as Beer continues his dominance on the hitter side of things. On the pitcher side, DailyFantasyNerd used a nice week to vault into 2nd place. Can anyone outside the top-3 dethrone any of the current leaders? It remains to be seen but experts on both sides have established themselves in the season-long leaderboard as we have not had a change in several weeks. As always, check out our MLB Expert Standings to make sure that you’re up to speed on who is making the grade. Enjoy!

In this article, I will give a brief recap of each day we gathered and graded the experts, including how the Industry Consensus picks did, highlighting which experts were at the top for the day and which players were only called out by one expert, but produced an “A+” grade. We will also review the overall standings and highlight the top experts so far this season.

As a reminder, we are currently gathering selections and publishing the MLB Industry Consensus article each weekday during the season, so be sure to check back about an hour or so before the first pitch of the first game to get a look at the consensus picks and sample lineups for the day. As an added bonus in 2017, we will publish the Consensus on weekends when we have a writer available. To begin the 2017 season, we will grade 20 experts that provide pitcher selections and 21 that provide hitter selections daily.

Leaderboard

The top-3 for both pitchers and hitters are below. Be sure to check out the full MLB Expert Standings to see how your favorite experts check out.

Pitchers

#1) DailyFantasySportsRankings (Score: 4.91) hangs on to the top slot by a thread. Even with a fairly even week, DailyFantasyNerd closed the gap even further as DFSR dropped a minute .01 for the week.

#2) DailyFantasyNerd (Score: 4.87) was the big gainer this past week with a nice .08 jump. Couple that with DFSR’s small drop and DailyFantasyNerd has shot to sit atop the leaderboard next week.

#3) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 4.85) is the 3rd participant in our hotly contested race on the pitcher side. FTA saw a slight .02 drop in score and that cost them a place in the standings as they have slid back to #3.

Hitters

#1) RotoGrinders 6-Pack (Score: 3.22) continues trucking along and continues his dominance with hitter selections. Beer’s score jumped a modest .05 for the wee but couple that with FTA’s drop and the gap has widened.

#2) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 2.98) stayed relatively flat with a small .01 step backwards. FTA continues to perform well on both sides of the coin.

#3) Daily Overlay – On the Hill (Score: 2.90) also had a relatively flat week. Brad’s scored dropped .02 and he’ll look to get back in the mix for the top-2 this week.
