We had another flip-flop at the top of our CFB Daily Overlay Scores again in Week Eleven.  Rob O’Conner of venoDFS.com retook the lead that he had relinquished the week before.  It’s a tight race at the top and it should go down to the wire between Rob and RotoGrinders’ EMAC.  It was a dud of a week from DailyFantasySportsRankings.com last week and they’ll look to bounce back these last couple of weeks.

There are two top-10 matchups for your viewing pleasure on Saturday.  First up, at 2:30pm, is a Big Ten matchup between Sparty and the Buckeyes.  There is still a lot to be settled in the Big Ten with a couple of weeks to go.  The other big game is in Stillwater as the home-standing Cowboys take on the Baylor Bears.  Jarrett Stidham is a bit banged up so I’d expect the Bears to run.  The weather in Stillwater is going to be nasty, furthering the thought that the game may turn into a ground and pound.

Quarterback

Highly Touted

Brandon Doughty (7x) – Doughty has not put up the gaudy numbers the last few weeks.  That being said, the Hilltoppers still have the 8th ranked passing offense in the country.

Recommended

Kennan Reynolds (5x) – So it took Reynolds breaking the rushing touchdown record to make our Consensus?  No, the Naval Academy makes the trip to Tulsa and the Golden Hurricane defense is an absolute sieve.  That is why he joins the list.

J.T. Barrett (5x) – Barrett does it with his legs, not just his arm.  He’s averaged 92 yards per game on the ground over his last three starts.

Suggested

Luke Falk (4x) – The former walk-on has turned into a stud.  If the Wazzu kicker could have put that game-winning field goal against Stanford between the uprights, the Cougs would be on their way to a Pac-12 North title.

Marquise Williams (4x) – Another guy that does it with his legs and arm.  He rushed for three touchdowns last week in the Heels’ rout of Miami.

Mason Rudolph (3x) – Rudolph is much better at home and the Pokes play in Stillwater on Saturday.  The wind will be howling which potentially limits the pass game effectiveness; however, they can’t run the ball so Rudolph will get plenty of chances to put it in the air.

Nate Sudfeld (3x) – Sudfeld put up good numbers last week against a Michigan defense that has been making mince meat of opposing offenses.

Perry Hills (3x) – Hmmm.  I’m skeptical of this play.  The talent is there but the production has not been.

Baker Mayfield (3x) – Did you see his Heisman performance last week?  The Sooners offense is the hottest in the country since the loss to Texas.  He’s an safe play even with the potential for wind and cold in Norman.

Running Back

Recommended

Royce Freeman (6x) – He’s not going to win it because the Ducks have three losses but Freeman should be in the Heisman discussion.  Freeman has put up almost 1400 yards and has topped 100 yards in eight of 10 games.

Suggested

Donnel Pumphrey (4x) – Pumphrey has turned in six straight games of 120+ yards.

Ralph Webb (4x) – Wales has only topped 100 yards on three occasions this year; however, he will take on a porous Aggies run defense that is in shambles.

Anthony Wales (3x) – Wales doesn’t get a ton of carries due to the gunning mentality of the WKU offense.  He’s averaging close to 8 yards per carry.

Tyler Ervin (3x) – Ervin has had two massive games but his numbers have been rather pedestrian other than those two.

Ezekiel Elliott (3x) – Elliott has over 1400 yards, 16 touchdowns and averages almost 7 yards per carry.  He’s safe to deploy in any format against any defense.

Christian McCaffrey (3x) – He started slow but since Week Three he’s been insane.  Would be great if he’d find the endzone more though.  Outside of his four touchdown performance against UCLA, he’s only scored three other times this year on the ground.

Wide Receiver

Highly Touted

JuJu Smith-Schuster (8x) – The sophomore is averaging 18.4 yard per catch and has reached paydirt 10 times.

Recommended

Taywan Taylor (6x) – Taylor has found the endzone 13 times this season.  He is the leader of the WKU receiving corps.

Aaron Burbridge (5x) – Last year’s Sparty vs Buckeye matchup featured a ton of points.  I’m going to lean on the side of that happening again tomorrow afternoon.

Darren Carrington (5x) – Since Vernon Adams, Jr. returned from injury, the Ducks offense has been on fire…especially through the air.

Suggested

Corey Coleman (4x) – He’s scored 20 touchdowns!!  He faces a tough secondary tomorrow though and Stidham will face a stiff pass rush.

Laquon Treadwell (3x) – Treadwell has gone over 100 yards in the last five games and six of his last seven.

Fred Ross (3x) – Ross doesn’t quite get the hype of his teammate, De’Runnya Wilson.  Ross is cheaper though and has been a solid play the last few weeks.

The only stack option in the consensus is the WKU combo of Doughty and Taylor.  Honestly, if you play Doughty you can probably play either Taylor or Jared Dangerfield.  I like both Sooner State quarterbacks tomorrow.  Rudolph and Mayfield are solid options for the late slate tomorrow.  Stack options for Rudolph include James Washington and/or David Glidden.  Or, if you’re looking for a sleeper option in that Okie State receiving corps, Marcel Ateman or Brandon Sheperd make nice plays.  As for stack option with Mayfield, Sterling Shepard is always a great option.  Our Consensus is lacking some of the same ol’ names we see week in-week out.  That is actually refreshing.  Let’s see if it makes a difference in the actual grades.  Good luck and let’s get that cash!
